Dear all,
the drupal directories on my installation are not protected. The file listing is not possible, but If I know a path I can access files.
Any idea how to fix that?

I'm starting to create custom 4.7 modules.
so far, so good.

but isn't it possible to respond to the module's [Save Configuration] function?

I figured I could just write a hook_update() function but it seems not.

I know that my form params are automatically saved for me but I need to post process something when a save happens.

I wish drupal had some nice docs made with phpDocumenter.

Hi,

I had to turn off the drupal cache due to some incompatabilities it had with some other scripts I was running.

However, the cache table is still VERY large and I'm out of space.

I tried running the cache_clear_all function (http://drupaldocs.org/api/head/function/cache_clear_all) but it does not seem to have cleared out the table, and it's still very large.

Is it safe to just truncate the whole table? Or will doing that cause other issues?

When I try to watch videocasts I get this message:

Congrats to all concerned..but I must admit I am totally gobsmacked with the following

There have been over 338 contributors to this latest release with over 1500 patches which is almost triple our previous record with Drupal 4.6 of 523 commits by 50 developers.

That is a huge leap from 4.6.

Curiosity killed the cat...but where did all those developers come from?

Are they refugees from similar projects that went the shape of pear or have they magically appeared out of nowhere, like I do when there's a free bar?

Both my site and my wife's site (we're both using drupal 4.6) just suddenly stopped working with this exact same error (using same hosting company):
