The Downloads page - How to?

I am new to Drupal - could anyone tell me how drupal.org does their downloads page (with the categories and things)? Is it dynamic or static?

Is there a way to count downloads and show that to the users? A way to sort them by popularity etc?

Thanks,
Nathan

Two languages per page?

I've seen the i18n module, but does it work for 4.7?

Also - does it really do what I want - mainly provide the ability to have two versions of each page, each in a different language (I post some news and it makes two identical pages in the source language so that then later I can go back and translate the page into the target language)?

Then when I user wants they can flip back between each language?

Thanks for your help,
Nathan

Customer Documentation

Hi folks,

I would like to ask around, how extensive your documention for customers you build pages for are. Or do you just rely on the pretty good description within the drupal installation and on this page here?
I also would love to hear if you know sites where I can read how these documentations maybe have to look like.

Allowing admin to change user_readonly fields

I would like to allow administrators to change the user_readonly fields. Has anyone done this? It kind of makes this mod worthless to me if I can't and there is nothing else like it. I need my regular users to be able to see the field just not change it.

Way to contact users without registering?

I have a website made of members of an association, and they'd like to have the general public be able to contact them through the Contact form. But is there a way to have this happen without people needing to register on the site?

Obfuscating the emails would be great. It's too bad this isn't built in like Mambo and Joomla have. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks!

File Manager + Audio For User File Folders

I've got the audio module installed and I've got the filemanager module installed on a test site that I'm working on with a clean install of Drupal 4.7. I'd like to be able to leverage the filemanager functionality to allow for an audio folder for each user.

So when User A uploads an audio file I would like the file to be placed in a User A specific folder.

I've poked around quite a bit to find out how to do this and have been unsuccessful so far. I'd appreciate guidance from folks who might be able to provide some.

Thanks In Advance.
