Hi all. I'm starting to work on a family portal using drupal 4.7. One component will be a family tree. I'm thinking it would be cool to have each family member have a "book" page as a basic bio. I could extend this to add special fields for birthdate, city, state etc. So, my family members could add pages to the book for relatives almost forgotten. Then users could create tags (using 4.7 free tagging) on any type of content and put in tags that related to people, families etc. I'm thinking that this way the tree would grow as the content grows. Even forum discussions could be tagged.
I have this feedback module installed and it displays well with firebox, but not with IE. Please click this link using your Internet explorer na dthe message filed is pushed down below the right side of the page. Any input please? http://samuiexpress.net/?q=feedback
I currently have a forum site running Joomla and Simple Machines forum. Some of my users have expressed the desire to have personal websites. Not just a blog, but a site where they can post pictures, content pages, and maybe even a journal. Something simple, not too hard to manage (for the users). The demo for Drupal seemed to be only a blog type site. Will Drupal be able to accomplish what I am wanting to give my users or is there something better?
