GMap and Location: the joy, the sorrow

After following zacker’s fantastic videocast in which he ties the gmaps, locacations, and views modules together so nicely, it has unleashed a Pandora’s Box of possibilities.

What I would like to do using gmaps and locations is this:

Create a gmaps macro with various lines and markers and use it as a base map onto which nodes with locational properties will be superimposed.

How to do Group Emailing?

How can we distribute email based upon user group? Is there any module supporting this?

How secure is version 4.7

I'm interested is it nesecery to install some security patches after installing version 4.7? How secure is Drupal comparing with other CMS?

How do you make the top tabs... "Support, Handbooks, Forum, Downloads.....?

How do you make a 4.7 site that is divided into differents sections etc. using the tabs at the top of the pages, such as the tabs at the top of this website that say, "Support, Handbooks, Forum, Downloads, contribute, Contact, Community? I'd like to create a website for our church divided into sections, such as Sermons, Staff, Youth, Children, Small Groups, Missionaries, etc. What modules do I need to add to Drupal 4.7 to set this up?

User Blog Style for 4.7

Is there a module so that a user can style there own blog in 4.7?

I have seen it for the older ones but can't find it for the version I have.

Hope some one can help :-)
