Who's Online for anonymous users combined with Chat

Is there a way to display all users online (anonymous and registered) and allow them to chat with each other? Sort of like a "Live Help" situation, only any user can initiate a conversation with anyone else on the same page not just the admin. It would also we good for my situation if users could see where other users had gone on the site just like live help as well.

If anyone has any insight in how to accomplish this I would appreciate the feedback.

Thanks,
RT

Can Drupal be used for Interactive Community Websites, such as MySpace?

I Really Like Drupal

I really like the way Drupal all works together, kind of like one big message board with places for articles, etc. For my purposes, it is much better than a plain webboard. I like the way that the "Recent Posts" shows everything going on from all over the website. This is great for my Upholstery Information Website, which is still in development. However .....

Church Website Has Specific Needs

Can someone tell me, and give me live examples, of any Community Interactive features Drupal has, or that can be put together. For my church website, besides experimenting with Drupal, I've been looking atJoomla!, mainly because it has some Community Interactive components seem to be missing from Drupal, specifically, User Home Pages, Community Builder, Sections, and a few others that I can't think of right now. I'd like to have the church website be a good community style website, with a section similar to MySpace and Elgg, where members have have personal spaces, home pages, pictures, blogs, friends, etc. I realize that Drupal is capable of some of those things, but not as easily (for the users) as MySpace and Elgg. On that side, I have hears something about Drupal and Elgg being somehow integrated. Elgg, Drupal, and Moodle -- the components of an online learning environment That would be a real big draw for me. However, who knows when or if that will actually happen.

Shared users login one time for multisites with different domains?

I created drupal multisites for testing shared user.

a Drupal base site: www.example.com/drupalbase
a subfolder site: www.example.com/subfoldersite
a subdomain site: http://subdomainsite.example.com

3 sites above have its own database but they share the following tables within the db used by drupalbase:

Linking to site's own content

Drupal would be perfect for me if I could easily create links to other content on my site. This would happen mostly during content creation, with the TinyMCE.

The idea would be helpful for not so computer oriented people.

Or is there a solution like this already?

How can a flexinode be changed to "product" content type

Hi All,

Can some one tell me how a flexinode be changed to product type content. basically after defining the flexinode, it should come under products, when I go to the add contents page.
Since we are on this topic, is this the best way to make your own product type, or its better to write your own module.
Help is very much need and appreaciated.

Best Regards

Anonymous blogging

When i give anonymous users permissions to blog, the node/add/blog page sends anonymous users to node/add, although the Submission guidelines from the blog entry content settings appear, as do the 4 content types for which anonymous users have permission to post, with the blog entry submission guidelines appended to the content type descrioptions of each.

Weird. Is this a bug?
