Is there a way to check to see if they update properly. I update 4.7.1 to 4.7.2 and I recieved no errors but I also did not get any indication that it did anything. I always follow the directions of upgrade.
If there is no errors, does that mean it is always successful?
Is there a way I can check to make sure the update went alright?
My site like many is becoming increasingly dependent on CCK and views. Good news- these ar both glorious modules. My trouble- slow views. 1 of my views_build_view queries takes 5 seconds consistently. Drupal's page caching only works for anonymous users, so I am effectively punishing users who register for account with slow response time
OK, yes it is a 5 table query. But curious- has anyone identified a way to cache pages or queries for logged in users, or to cache views queries?
but using the smarty theme engine? its probably a noob question but i cant seem to find anything other than for phptemplate or whether you can do it in the same manner using the smarty engine
I want to make my top level categories on the NAV bar bold.
the 'Vocabulary Name' in the category page doesn't accept my html bold tag.
anyone know of a way to do this?
I tryed to install 4.5 and 4.7 - and both they showed error messages...
By searching the board I found out that this is pretty much wired errors - so I have a question - why are you (drupal's coders) cant fix all this bugs?
Lets think - some nube tryed to install drupal and get all this errors, what do you think he will do? I think he just try some other cms...
Can anyone point me to a mailing list where I can subscribe to to get security patch notifications.
Security is the number one point for my website and so I need to get have an email the instant an update is avalible.
Thanks.
