I have a quick question about laptops at DrupalCon. I totally get why you would bring a laptop to the training sessions on the 19th - but the general sessions from the 20th - 23rd, why would I need it? Or rather, should I bring it? I would rather not tote it around all day. I just need a little advice.

As part of my course I am required to write a dissertation on a topic of my choice, therefore this dissertation is designed to enable me to understand differences and similarities of Open Source (Wordpress, Drupal, Wiki, Joomla etc.) and Commercial (SiteCore, EpiServe, Ektron, Alterian, Amaxus, Sitefinity etc.) Content Management System within user point of view.
I deleted a forum subject and then found out it was linked 6 places throughout website. How can I tell if something is used and where 'before' I delete it? Like an article is linked in the forum. If I delete the article then a user will click on it in the forum and get 'not found'? A block contains a link to an article but I delete the article? or a discussion? A page shows content or topic but I want to delete the content - I need to know it's on that page or I'll have an error? Is there a way to show content by location?l I have searched and searched....
