I have been using CCK to create some new content types. I have set the teaser in the posts settings to 200 chars in length. I then created a few nodes from the new cck template. Then using the views module created a frontpage with 'display as page' and a 'teaser list' selected. there are some various filters and sorters in place as well. the fields in my CCK are mostly all text type, text fields.
I was wondering how to do relative URLS in Drupal. I want to be able to transfer my site to another server and I do not want to have to go back and strip off the server name off of some of the files(urls). For instance:
I think Joomla was a good experience for me to learn about CMS but I am not sure it has the flexibility I need.
I need some advice on how to set this up. I am setting up a blogger classroom next year in History.
I need every student to have a blog on the site and those blogs can be posted to admin defined categories and sections that are listed in the main body of the page.
Can you point me in the right direction for modules?
I am trying to develop a shop wich I want to eventually put online. One of the problems I am facing is the fact that I would like to use a paying service for all clients. What I mean is something like Paypal or 2CO... This because I do not want to deal with the sensitive information of the customers.
My questions is if someone knows wich steps I would have to follow in order to make my drupal / ecommerce module site work with a paypal / 2CO service. Do I need to just in stall the standard ecommece module ? Do I have to customise the checkout ? What do I have to do ?
I new to drupal and I am wondering what is the best way to show images in a node. I have the image assist module installed and it works fine for the placement but it generates wierd code that I am having trouble manipulating. Example follows:
I would like to display the image as [-- img src="image.jpg" height="100" width="100" alt="image" --*] or something like that. Is there anything out there that allows for something like this?
Whenever I try to create a product (with the ecommerce module) I get an apache error and the browser will want to send an error report. Then the site (local) hangs up on me. It happes only in FF and I don't want to be stuck content managing in IE! Does anyone know this error and / or what to do about it ?
