Hi, I was just wondering.....
ya see, I have an idea, think it would work, even bought the space to host the site. The webspace came with a set of scripts called fantastico. okay, there's susposed to be a auction site, and well, alot of other scripts that would be very much useful. the auction script doesn't work, I really could use one, but well, I'll figure that out later I guess. But I would like to use something like Drupal. It's gonna be kind of like a membership site, and well, I need to have a directory of the members, along with alot of flexibility as to what the pages in that directory have on them.
Problem is....I can't even figure out just how I am susposed to get the information that is taken at registration back out in a readable format??? I'm trying to learn php, but then I notice that well, the databases aren't accessible through php, there's an error I guess....
okay, so, I do I get Drupal to spit out the info that is put into back out in a format I like??
As it is, I can't even get Drupal to spit out anything in a format I like....can I change the background colors, or anything.....
some help would be greatly appreciated....a miracle more than likely needed. I'm beginning to think I should have stuck with straight htm and forgot about using scripts to automate any of it....it would be up and running, although I admit, I'd be working 24/7 trying to keep it up to date...
