I cannot wait for the ecommerce module. I need to have a subscription service so that I can provide content to my members, so that our members have a reason to use our service, so that I can provide better customer service and so that I give back to this community.. but seeing as there is no ecommerce solution(and I don't foresee one being available in the next 2 weeks) I'm going to write my own.

I don't know if I'll be able to do it by myself, I don't know how much time it will take but, let me know if you want an update as I develop it.

Is there any way to get informed when a module is (significantly) updated?

Since 4.7 we now have a super cool autocomplete tagging for when we create nodes.

What I would really want is that EVERYONE be able to tag content, BUT the system would remember who tagged what and provide a 'my tags' and a 'others have tagged this...' for popular tags (let's say 5 or more people have tagged it the same name, to avoid spamming).

The autocomplete would search all tags (and maybe even find synonyms?), in order to minimize different tags.

Is this possible now with current modules?

I want to have page with names of all bloggers. If you click on one of those names, you wil see this person's blog.

Do you have ANY idea how to do this please???

I'm seeing a new twist to spam - failed logins using spam terms hawking meds, contact lenses, and whatnot. It's a bit pathetic in its futility, but it's also annoying by clogging up the system logs.

I would like to use the ecommerce module on my site... But I do not want the hassle of dealing with the customers, so I though about using PayPal for this.

The question is if anyone has some experience with using the drupal ecommerce cart in combination with PayPal services ??? Any info on this will be much appreciated...
