how do i restrict a user so that he is only able to edit and write into the category "About US" in the menu.

Like you have those menus:

* Home
-- Wellcome
-- FAQ
* About Us
-- Contact
-- Bla
-- Blabla
* Products
-- Product1
-- Product2
-- Product3

and User Peter should only be allowed to write and edit into "About Us" - and its children...

hello, prompt please how in the module of search drupal-4.7.2 to search on a mask for example *linux* ?

I am using drupal 4.5.8 under a debian box.

I don't know what's happened on my drupal, recently, I got some strange problems.

When I click "view" on blog articles, aritcle does not appear on the page.
However, in the "edit" page, the contents of article is just correctly in the "Body" editor block.

Any advise?

On the front page of my drupal site, I would like to have a block that shows (in the right-hand column), the photos of contributors to my site (which the contributors can upload). Under each photo I want to have a little text, which users can click on to see a profile page for that particular user.

Is there an easy way to do this? Image galliers? Node Image module? Any suggestions appreciated.
