RSS Feed as Sticky

Hello,
I'm trying to develop a spiritual website, and have found an RSS feed that gives a different Verse of the Day. I'd like to have this RSS feed be sticky on every page. I've added it to the content block, and it does show up. However, it's only showing the title, "Verse of the Day", and the link to the host website. It's not actually showing the body of the RSS feed, which is the actual verse. How can I get it to show the verse itself on every page?

Check out this interesting review of Drupal 5.0 beta

I came across this interesting review of Drupal ver 5.x beta via digg [Link]. And I felt I should share it in the drupal forum.

In the review the author states ... and I quote

... So I found that when most web hosting providers were touting one click installs of other CMSes and blogging tools, they were silent about their support for Drupal.

Help us write nice things about Drupal in English:) for newbies and intro to Web Designers

Bravo to Drupal

Vive le Drupal

Syabas dan tahniah Drupal dan rakan2 Drupal.org & Dries Buytaert! (That's Malay)

We wrote an article which gets top for Google `CMS features strength' but I thought the title was a little inaccurate, English is our second language and writing technical stuff is very challenging, but that article was intented for non-CMS and non-FLOSS users to see what a free and open source CMS like Drupal can do and give

So for `CMS features strength' - we got top 1

But for `CMS requirements features' or `cms features requirements' we got none

But guess what, for `Content Management System' - Drupal.org is #3 after Wiki and OPenSourceCMS!

And for `Community Management System' Drupal.org is #4 after bcoos, zope, and moodle! (Next after Drupal.org is Typo and Plone

So what do we suggest here....those who love Drupal should write nice stuff about CMS in general and relate it to Drupal niceties and capabilities

For a start, anybody can copy and improve on our article here, which was linked and commented by a Site design

http://drupalmalaysia.org/DEMO/?q=Drupal_features_strength_CMS

*If applicable, should we put a note telling that this article should be put under `Creative Commons'?

*If Drupal 5.0 is available soon, you can add many more nice stuff about Drupal including `online changing theme colors'

*I dont have Google AdSense account and dont intend to for the time being

Title linking

I wonder how other people are doing what really is a simple html thing, but may not fit in with the drupal model. (apologies if I've posted this already, my original seemed to have disappeared.)

How on earth do I get a tile to link to another page instead of the content of that node?
Let me explain. I create a right hand side box which a client can add content to. They create stories which (using categories and views) get placed into that right hand box. But clicking on the link takes you to that page content, I want it to send you somewhere else.

Most Tricked-out Drupal forum? What's the best it can be?

I've been considering a conversion from phpbb to drupal. But again and again you hear it: "the Drupal forum is inferior to dedicated forum software like phpbb."

A short bit about me. I run a medium-sized phpbb forum and have yet to see a really strong drupal forum that has wowed me to converting to drupal. But I want to. I want Drupal to wow me away so I can quit trying to patch and repatch my phpbb install, and instead rely on the more solid drupal core (with easier upgrades). Plus, my own tricked-out phpbb forum won't survive the upgrade to the newest phpbb software on the horizon. So I'm looking at an upgrade anyway.

So, I'm interested in what can be done. I ran a search and saw a few dedicated forums in drupal, but nothing spectacular. So I thought I'd open it up to the drupal community.

Post the most tricked out (most features) drupal-powered forum that you know of.

Multipart CCK form - is it possible?

I would greatly appreciate if someone could tell me if it's possible to create a multipart form using CCK module. I've been looking for the answer in this forum and FORMS API manuals, but still can't figure out how to do that. Have tried wform, webform, jstools already, but still need CCK (because of imagefield module etc.)... So.. any ideas on this?.
