Please help me, I'm new to this, sorry if you've heard this one before...

I am very confused and very frustrated. I got the new version of Drupal, have it installed on my server and all is well. Now, I have no idea what I'm doing. I'll break this down as simple as possible and if anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

what's wrong with this snippet?

This should display a list of my recent cck nodes

CivicSpace 08.5

I was just wondering if CivicSpace and CiviCRM are one in the same program?

Thank you,

Switching off / changing sidebars according to node ...

Hi,

I've got a left sidebar active on my frontpage, but when a viewer goes to the news section node, I would like the left sidebar to dissappear and be replaced by an active RIGHT sidebar... Anyone know how to do this ? So what I actually want to do is to customise wich sidebars / regions appear according to the page / node that the user is on ...

getting all distinct terms for a teaser list from views or taxonomy/term page

hello...hello! Drupal ROCKS!

Here is a small issue i am grappling with:

I have CCK pages that have an embedded view in them using:

$view_name = $url1; //name of view
$limit = 3; // number of returns
$view_args = array($filter);
print views_build_view('embed', views_get_view($view_name), $view_args, TRUE, $limit);

and the $filter variable is populated from the url args so i can display results based on the currently browsed page.
