Hi, I am using Drupal 4.6.9 at this moment, and there is so many problems with the theme engine. I have seen that Drupal 4.6.5 can work well in the forum. So where can I download verion 4.6.5 of Drupal? Many thanx at advance.

I have used the http://drupal.org/node/65064 information in order to have a different frontpage then the default of the rest of my site.

This is working like a charm except that I am lost at the moment how content has to be published.

I have divided the frontpage in 3 eareas, the default header and then a frontpage top and frontpage down. down i have 4 teasers which are floating in a square. This content is published with the $content variable.

But, now I want to publish content in the top earea for which I can not use content again. However, all the content made with Drupal is printed with the $content variable which is used at frontpage down already.

So the question is, how can you publish content in frontpage top? I looked at creating a new block but there you dont have the options as you have when creating a page or story. The only thing you can do there is putting in HTML PHP or whatever which I dont want to. I just want to make a normal page as I do for the default pages and the frontpage down.

Basically it comes down to a feature which will ask me, where do you want to put this page? Default is $content and I would like to give then the option a new block which I print with $blockname or $frontpage top.

Hopefully it is clear what I want. It does not matter how it done as long as it is easy and fast ;).

Hi, I am using Drupal 4.6.9 and PHP 5, and have installed PHPTemplate engine for 4.6.0 besides the default xTemplate. Now, i have installed theme box_grey and I can see it on the admin/themes page.

But after I choose it as default theme and save the configuration, nothing changes and the default becomes again the old theme (bluemarine-cvs which is used now). So how can I make the new themes to be used? What is the problem here? Many thanx for your help at advance.

I'm trying to build a set of pages that will be able to organize the layout based on vocabulary.

Example Categories:

* Type:
News
Demos
Events

* Products:
Phone
Server
General Purpose

What I want to do is be able to submit various combinations of submission types, then create a page for each product that will sort the stories by submission type, generating a page like:

...

Product: Phone

News:
(generates a listing of all "Type: News" that have "Product: Phone")

I just installed Drupal 5 beta. When I tried to install some modules, I can't find them in Administer->Site Building->Modules after I loaded them into Module directory. What was wrong? Do I need to do some extra settings? Or I should set the modules in some other pages?

I'm creating a website and I'd like a system where users can upload files, and search for them by name, category and tags.

In particular, I'm trying to create an open-source code repository, so I want users to be able to upload zip files of code. In a perfect world, they would also be able to upload newer versions of the code, with the old versions still visible, but that feature would not be entirely necessary.
