I need something almost like DIGG but where you dont submit a news link but rather your own articles. Can drupal provide this?

How do I do this?

Second...How do I move "Submitted by LB on November 3, 2006 - 2:54am." to where "Wednesday, October 25, 2006 By: Leon Bailey" is?

Third...how do I have only one news story for the main cms page?

I've search and seen where this is available as userdirectory but i cant find it in the downloads.

Vanilla is a forum pretty much like drupal's forum but I think with little more features.

It has everything drupal's forum lacks i mean. If this forum comes default with drupal 5, or even a new module for this. I am sure drupal+vanilla might be ruling the web.

I would like to show which users have commented or looked at a node. 43things.com does something like this. Anyone have any idea?
