I'm new for Drupal. I have some doubt regarding file or document management. Is it there any option to file or document management in drupal?

My menu structure is:

Menu 1.
Submenu 1.1
Submenu 1.2

Menu 2.
Submenu 2.1
Submenu 2.2

How can I place all Submenus on the left side bar, but the Submenus must appear only when Menu 1 or Menu 2 is clicked.

Hello Everyone,

I am needing to find an exciting topic for my Academical Research project, and am hoping someone might have an idea or two.

I am doing final year Masters Degree in Computer Science & Mathematics, and am looking for appropriate topic which is challenging enough for this level of Academical Research.
Being one of the drupalist people, I will be super-happy to find such a topic related to Drupal which will benefit both the Drupal Community and give me a deeper knowledge of Drupal.

it was nice to try you out, but now I got rid of you. I will go back to joomla.

I built a new site with you, very open minded ... and wondered why for every piece I had to download a module ... every time a module for things I thought should be included per se in a CMS ...

Then I tried to find node numbers .for linking ..... not so easy ... then I spent hours to understand your link system and the related rest ... and where the hell can I disable this ugly author information ... and so on ...

and so on and so on ....

Who gets to decide whether a project is "Actively maintained" and "Under active development"?

A case in point is http://drupal.org/project/flexiaccess, which is listed as being both. However, not much has happended since November 2010. Also, the maintainer does not respond to issues.
