Can i use spark distribution for production?

I am planning to use spark for production. Though it is in alpha version, i can solve some of the issues in it and go for production.
Is this wise to do? When i upgrade to Drupal8 will it create any problem?
Content authoring experience is important for this project so that why we have planned to chose Spark.

new bogus users

Hey, I have a general question.

Ever since I put up my drupal site I've gotten a horde of bogus users registering for the site. Sometimes hundreds a day. They are obviously done with a bot. I've done a bit of searching on the topic and I've discovered that it is a fairly common problem with Drupal, but I can't seem to figure out why anybody would bother.

Why there is not so many (good) Drupal themes?

Non-Thread Safe vs. Thread Safe PHP for Drupal

Hey All,

I've been doing some benchmarking/speed testing with PHP and Drupal on Windows Server 2012/IIS8 with NTS and TS. The control panel software that I'm using is Plesk and I know that it installs TS by default of PHP. I've also installed NTS. I know that NTS is by far faster on Windows. I basically want to know everyone's thoughts on Non-Thread Safe vs. Thread Safe?

I appreciate your feedback.
