I am new on druppal so please tell me how can i learn druppal

What are the relative merits of using a widely used framework such as Foundation or Bootstrap compared with Drupal themes such as Zen or AdaptiveTheme? (I posted this last fall and got no replies. I haven't done any A/B testing myself, but I'd still appreciate comments from people who are familiar with both.

And part two of the original question: Does this change with D8?
