Drupal 7.x

Hello, I am a project manager looking for a Drupal 7/8 developer who is available for ongoing PT work.  Anywhere between 5 and 20 hours a week.  Wordpress/general PHP experience a plus.  Looking for same day response time and 24 turn arounds on simple tasks.

I am running a multisite Drupal 7.

In the default site everything is OK, however, in one of the other sites I can no longer use Backup-Migrate. It is there in the modules listand shows up as activated, but does not show up under Configuration-System-Backup and Migrate.

Previously it did show up but when I tried to navigate there I got an error:

PDOException: SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found backup_migrate_sources

I tried to uninstall-delete-reinstall but no change. The default site works OK, the example1.com not.

Hi Drupal!

I've run into a mystery issue that got me scratching my head. I received a notification saying there is a new update for D7, the new 7.79 version. I performed the update to two of my sites, but immediately after, the "Available Updates" page takes forever to load, and when it does load, all the projects show "Failed to get available update data.", all grey.

I tried clearing the cache in the Drupal install but it didn't do much.

How can I fix this? Is this cache related?

Good afternoon, I have been working with Drupal for a few months, I learned to work with him when I joined the company I am in, due to all the sites in the company being in Drupal.

I'm a site webmaster who knows just enough Drupal to be able to (sometimes) add a new feature that I really need to be able to become more efficient at my job. I wound up creating a couple new global fields for Drupal 7 views, and anticipate creating more. These fields might be useful to others, so I'd like to contribute them to the Drupal community; then again, if the way I created them doesn't fit well with Drupal, then they might not be a good fit for contribution (yet).

Not sure what the easiest way to achieve this is, but I would like to give users the ability to add other users with a subset of fields from the usual create user form.  I wondered if this was possible with a "user" content type and then somehow use rules or some code to create a blocked user which I could then enable once I have reviewed. Any thoughts on this appreciated.
