Block Editing Permissions

How do I give a newly created role the ability to update/edit a sidebar.

I hover over it as superadmin and I see the little gear appear that allows me to edit the block information. I would like to give this ability to the site owner as well.

Thanks in advance and please forgive my 3 day Drupal noobness.

PS I searched for about an hour online and through Drupal forums and could not locate an answer on how to do this in Drupal 7. I'm guessing I'm missing something very simple.

Unexpected behavior of the Views 3.0 module

Hi to all,

Can anyone tell me if this is a bug or a known behavior of drupal 7/views 3.0 module:

I created a page and block views using the views 3.0 module.

At some point after creating a page view the view can not be updated anymore (regardless of how many times I delete the cache or update the theme registry).

I noticed that the page view seems to contain definitions from the content-type rather than the view. For example, the length of the trimmed content.

Problem with first commit [CLOSED]

Hi,

Do you know if I can reset my first commit on my sandbox project and restart all over again? I somehow messed up the first commit (the instructions for somebody who has never worked with git are not so clear) and instead of putting all the files in the root directory I put them in /work/www/proiecte/drupal7/sites/all/modules/custom/basic_cart/ which is the directory on my laptop. I have no idea how I've manage to do this.

onclick events & arrays

I need to add an onclick event within the forums module. I looked around but wasn't able to find any useful information so I'm hoping someone here will be able to help?

Problem - I need to add an onclick event for when someone clicks on the forum post title & goes to the forum posts page.
I looked at the forum module & I think I have the correct code but not 100% sure.
How do I append the onclick event?

Drupal & Badgeville module integration

I got Badgeville installed on our staging server & it's working & passing data to the Badgeville library. I have a question about how to add the Badgeville onClick event to the various modules?

Lets take the forum module:

$form['advanced_link'] = array(
'#type' => 'link',
'#title' => t('Advanced Forum Search'),
'#href' => '',
'#attributes' => array('class' => array('forum-search-options-link')),
'#prefix' => '
