Problem in installation process

I use Panelizer module to create my node pages, but when I enable Panelizer, the default breadcrumbs disappear. I create a pane with "breadcrumb" added, but it does not do anything. If I disable Panelizer, the default breadcrumbs on the node page, which is Taxonomy Breadcrumbs, will display normally. Could someone kindly advise me on how to make Panelizer and breadcrumbs work together? Does it have anything to do with page template? Does it have anything to do with Panels module? Thanks!

I need to download image from another server.
For example "http://anothersite.com/images/img.jpg"

I tried to use file_save_upload()

$url = 'http://anothersite.com/images/img.jpg';
$response = file_save_upload($url, array(), FALSE, FILE_EXISTS_RENAME);

but it returns NULL.

What am I doing wrong?

I've moved my local windows drupal to a linode, but I'm getting lots of "The file could not be created" errors. If I log in to the site as an administrator, it fails to return any more pages at all. I can view it with errors if I don't log in.

Is there a way to change the temporary file location from an ini file or via mysql rather than logging in through the interface.

Any help appreciated.

I am trying really hard to built a social network using Drupal, everything is going smooth until I ran into this: I am trying to change the logo of my theme, as I tried to upload the picture and save it I get the following legend:

"The specified file temporary://dogslife_final_8.png could not be copied, because the destination directory is not properly configured. This may be caused by a problem with file or directory permissions. More information is available in the system log."

I already have image and view. I have tried many modules and search for modules too but still no result what i want.

Could you please tell me that which module of drupal can do like above link?
