Drupal 7.x

Hi All,

I'm building a site in Drupal and I'm facing some challenges, hope you can help me out.

I want to structure a site with different views as blocks into the content region. This is a trivial tasks if done in plain HTML but in Drupal I can't figure out how and where to include those blocks.

I know I can define the blocks in "structure" to appear in the content region but how can I define whether these blocks are shown or not. For instance, I have several pages in the site and all of them will show different blocks.

The DBA at our company says that they will not allow truncate command at any cost as it is under companies strict guidelines, now we are unable to run drupal, so can anybody please tell me what the solution can be, we can manually clear cache or can make a script a file but cron file will still run truncate command so how to over come this problem.

I have installed Drupal in /var/www/html folder. And I show the message that since everything successful I should change the access rights for the default and default/settings.php and when I did chmod 664 sites/default, then instead of showing me the drupal login page, it has asked me to create settings again. Is there anything wrong?

I have installed WYSIWYG, IMCE and the API bridge, however when editing an article or page I add the image via the upload button and the image then shows up on the editing page. When I then go to the actual site the image is not shown only the image text is shown (img etc). Please help this is driving me mad!

Hi,

I've been having some trouble on one of my drupal sites for the last weeks, first the contact form stopped working Won't send any mails. Then all mail sent from my site stopped working and i just keep getting the error message "Unable to send e-mail. Contact the site administrator if the problem persists."

I've searched around for a solution but can't find anything on how to solve this. I'm using a email address with the same domain name as my site.
