A couple general questions... We have a Drupal 7 website with a small custom 3rd party api that passes blog posts from this site to a second website, based on a specific field value. (that happens to use a subdomain of the first - though it's not on the same server)
There is, apparently, also a couple lines of code in the primary site's .htaccess file. Occasionally it gets overwritten, even though we believe we've done nothing to overwrite that file.
Please advise me what can cause the 504 TIMEOUT GATEWAY ERROR on random pages? I'm struggling with it sice 2 months. The hosting provider told i should optimize my website even though I did (with no results). I disabled all heavy modules, I use cache, boost, aggregation. The website is very slow since the problem occured.
After clearing cache is better. Error occurs more often when cache starts to grow up.
Website loading very slow - with big size of cache more than 60s!
