Experience Community Website

Hi everyone,

I am new to Drupal and I was wondering if it would be a good fit for a community website with the following features:

- Create different groups (or organizations)

- Create news associated with the organizations

- Create events associated with the organization

- A page that lists all events of all groups that can also be filtered by group

- The possibility for members to join groups and receive emails after new events are posted

Updating modules does not actually update the modules?

SUMMARY:

When I go to Modules -> Updates I download and install the updates, and everything appears as normal, it says that the modules were installed correctly. However, when I go back to the Modules screen, the version number for each module remains the same. Also, I am still getting an alert message saying that I need to update some modules. What am I doing wrong?

DETAILS:

All users - login blocked after 5 attempts

Hi, I've had this happen a few times, and at very inconvenient times.

It appears that absolutely every account, regardless of IP address or computer gets the failed login screen.  I can clear flood from terminal, but these seems very strange that it is happening to every account.

Any help appreciated.

multilingual blog

Good morning, I have a problem with the blog index. My website is a website that I'm preparing to be multilingual. With the types of content and link to the menu it works well. The problem is that when I access where the blog entries should be it only works in one language, if I translate the entry is not reflected in the page of the other language.

could someone help me solve this problem and make the second index work with the new language?

Drupal 7 views 'connecting nodes'

Hi, I have a taxonomy and a content type of countries, on that page is information, maps on that particular country. I have another type called photos and within that content type there is a field called country. Is there anyway that if viewing a particular country it will display all or a set number of photos where the country matches the country field on the photo type? i.e node title - Kenya will display all photo nodes where the country field on that node = Kenya.

Views: How to rewrite results or css based on a date

I have a view of documents that need to be reviewed periodically. I'd like to display an image next to the title link that's either: green- "up to date", yellow- "due for review" or red- "expired". I've seen this done on alot of similar websites, just don"t know how. Any thoughts?

Thanks!
