Next steps for Drupal 7 usability

Improving the usability of Drupal is very important. Yesterday, I wrote about the progress that was made on Drupal 7 usability -- the community has made a ton of incremental improvements, while Mark and Leisa have been preparing mockups and wireframes that provide significant over-arching improvements to Drupal's ease of use. Combined, I believe these efforts could make Drupal 7 a great release. A release that the Drupal project needs since our competitors are catching up in terms of functionality and flexibility. Likewise we need to catch up in terms of design and usability. It is my belief that we can develop a user experience for our project that is game changing, and that completely resets people's expectations both for Drupal and our competitors.

Freelance themers wanted

UnderDesign is a UK based web design and web development agency offering corporate and freelance work. We're looking for one (possibly two) Drupal themers to help us complete projects that are always coming in fast (we currently have over 30 projects on the go). The right person / people would work with us on the following basis:

1) You would have one or more of the following skills:
- strong Drupal theming skills
- excellent up-to-date knowledge of CSS
- reasonable PHP and JavaScript skills

2) Our relationship would be business-to-freelancer - We are not seeking to employ anybody - we are looking for freelancers.

3) You must be fluent and fully conversant in English. Sorry, we are not multi-lingual and we find it difficult working with poor translations into English.

4) Be prepared to work at developing the relationship - we would be working together on the sites we have been commissioned to construct - and, in our experience, it takes a while to establish where people are strongest and therefore the best, fastest and most effective way for us to develop our clients websites in a way that works best for them.

ImageCache - ImageFiled - FileFiled to create a Gallery

Hi Everyone
I am trying to build a simple gallery by using some modules: imagecache, imagefiled, filefiled and imageAPI.
I create a content type where I'm able to upload as images as i wish.
After that, I create a redimension task with imagecache, which takes all images and set a thumbnail for each image.
Then I use Lightbox for the effect while is showing the image.
And the result is this: http://incoplast-sl.com/?q=node/57
