We simply need to make changes to some of our page layouts (look and feel so that it is easier to use and navigate through). It would include editing several of our existing modules.

Need to hire someone ASAP and need to start this next week. Please send us links to your demo projects and resume for consideration.

Upgrading from 6 to 7 - How

I'm planning to build a website but I'm curious about upgrading from 6 to 7.

I read upgrading guide.
I think it looks simple. run update.php and all was done.

but i am curious about a few thing. After I upgrade successfully, can I face problems because of differences between 6 and 7

instead of upgrading, to recreate a website with newer version is better?

Primary links have different preferences

Hi,

I'm all new to drupal, started using it yesterday. So far I love it.

One problem started appearing yesterday night though, when I was fooling around a little with the settings. If you check my site, farcry.swcteam.com, and click the "about" link in the primary links area, you'll see that it turns green once you are in. Problem is that none of the others do. Checking the source, the link area looks like this;

  <div class="content">
    <ul class="menu"><li class="leaf first"><a href="http://farcry.swcteam.com" title="Home page">Home</a></li>
<li class="leaf"><a href="http://farcry.swcteam.com/node/5" title="The guide">Guide</a></li>
<li class="leaf"><a href="http://farcry.swcteam.com/guestbook" title="Guestbook">Guestbook</a></li>
<li class="leaf active-trail"><a href="/node/4" title="About this site" class="active">About</a></li>

<li class="leaf last"><a href="http://farcry.swcteam.com/contact" title="Contact form. I wrote this description myself :) Anyone ever read this?">Contact</a></li>
</ul>  </div>

As you can see, the "about" link has a different class.

Oh, and the last one, "Contact", has a different class from the others as well, what's with that?

How do I change this? I want all of them to become green as I enter. It was like that originally, but not any more.

Looking for great, dedicated Drupal team to create online training/quiz/media streaming portal

Greetings,

We are a company out of Toronto, Canada looking for a dedicated (the developers/testers work on this project ALONE) Drupal team to create an online training / quizzing / media streaming portal.

It will be necessary for the administrators (non-Drupal users with light training) to be able to update this content on a regular basis (create new quizzes, upload/link to media (like YouTube videos). It is also necessary for the application to log performance metrics from the quizzes, and usage statistics (like how many visitors used each portion of the portal, how many unique visitors per day, etc.) It will contain registration and performance metrics capabilities, training, testing, service recognition and accreditation modules applicable for the tourism business.

More details will be provided upon further communication.

It's most important for us that the team be communicative, accountable, and address any and all emails sent to the team manager WITHIN 24 HOURS.

High professionalism, and top-notch references for previous work done similar to this are a must.

Please forward all preliminary proposals, including:
* information about your team
* past references
* list of sample sites developed by your team
* very general timeline of milestones for a project of this scope
