Using Drupal to Build Prototype of existing Website

I would like to build a prototype in Drupal of an existing website. What are the steps required to do this? Would like to show the contents of the web page in Drupal. The existing web page is built in OCHS with Django. Can I transfer the contents from this existing tool to Drupal for prototype purpose??

Thanks,

Sam

Maintain *entire* Drupal site under version control?

Does anyone out there have success maintaining an *entire* Drupal site under version control?

This means not only maintaining the PHP template/module files, but also changes to the database done through the front-end Web interface as well?

There are other web application frameworks that allow this, but I'm not sure whether it is part of the Drupal community culture, if anyone out there has had success with this methodology, please feel free to chime in or provide links.

Thanks in advance,

Drupal Congress Contact Module via Data.gov?

I've been searching the drupal modules for one that will allow any website to easily and quickly allow users to log in, contact their congressional representatives and senators and allow site admins to track the data involved as a measure of interest in site participants. I imagine this could tie in easily with data.gov, if they will provide the contacts. It would also be nice for this to scale down to the state and local levels. Is there such a module available?

Creating a site similar to Photobox

Hi

I've been evaluating Drupal for a while now and planning on launching a business that essentially allows groups of users to upload photos into private groups and also order prints of those photos.

There would be two basic user types, group owners and contributors. The group owner would have to pay for the space to upload photos. I think the Organic groups module coupled with the paypal module should cover that off?
