We've just gone through a new design both front and back and now using Dropal. The image gallery our vendor used isn't very user friendly or visually appealing. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what platforms to use to better display content?
As a Newbie, i want to learn Drupal Core. Because of the large Sources, i want to create a tool to inject logger inside all functions (90% finish), write all arguments and return value, before processing and after processing. So its easy to read what's going on the Core. Does anybody already create such a tool like that? I will share the source (hacked Drupal Core). I know 'hacking Drupal Core is forbidden'...
I would like to make a page to display content based on keywords.
I have made a Content Type: Research. I have installed Views and I have made a page that displays content based on the Content Type: Research. This works well. What I would also like to do is make a page that displays content using the content type and a keyword, is this possible?
For Example, can I make a page that would show content made using the Content Type: Research and a keyword 'history'. The page displayed would only show research articles with the word history in it.
Issue for me - how to get a new ideas for great modules? There is a lot of modules already contibuted to the Drupal from its community. Is there any tips, guys, you are using to get new ideas for further popular modules?
We've been building up a LAMP stack lately based on Ubuntu Server 10.04 to host Drupal 7 in our datacenter. While there are a number of excellent manuals and tutorials out there, we noticed that very few provide a complete guide to building a Drupal-specific hosting environment, from bare metal up, that is suitable for production use. So... we took a whack at writing one: Drupal 7 Hosting Cookbook.
