I am very new to drupal and I'm trying to figure out the best way to retrieve attached image filenames and sources for a content type.

can i just create a node template (i.e. node--gallery.tpl.php) and loop through the attachments:

<?php variable_get($file->filename) ?>

and if so: what is the best way to perform the loop??

OR

do i need to change the output in my template.php file??

Please help, i just need a point in the right direction.

I'm looking for a way to edit the stuff between tags. I know, there is a way to do that directly in page.tpl, to create own header and just use strings from original, but im looking for part which generate the header. Can anyone help me to find it?

I wonder why this two parts are missing? Everyone knows that it's more SEO friendly to include keywords and description in siteheader. I know also that there is Nodewords plugin, but hey, why all the simple core stuff must be done over some third party plugin?

I'm trying V7 now, and there is no version of Nodewords for it. So, my web isn't 100% SEO friendly and i must look for a way to clear it.

Sad thing that such core thing aren't there by default! =((

Anybody knows how to create content (nodes, users, terms, books, polls, profiles, aggragator links, etc.) programmatically in a module in Drupal 7 ?
