Hi everyone,

I'm new to drupal but want to learn drupal fast.. I know php programming... I've got lots of questions... I need someone who can pass me their email id and I can chat with them for an hour possibly regularly / irregulary which can be decided.. This is for the sole purpose that I get little more acquainted with drupal development especially modules.. Is anyone ready to help on chat... I'm struggling with this for past many days and I think you were too once upon a time.. So if anyone can help out please do...

When setting up a system on my own, I have control over how data (user data, etc.) is saved into the database.

I'm new to drupal and I see it has its own approach in storing user data. The data is wide open.

How would I go about overriding its default behavior to store data according to my own standards?

Any existing modules that may help with that, if any?

Have anybody tried using form states in the implementation of field widget form? I have try to follow the examples in form_example but does not seem to work. I have to fallback to use ajax instead. However, I would prefer using form state as it is more responsive and is important for good user experience.

Would appreciate if someone can send me an example of form states implementation in field widget form. Thanks!

i installed the consistent language interface module but when i click on the flags it always redirects to node/somenumber instead of showing the URL alias of the page. How can i change it so it shows the URL alias instead?
