Drupal 7.x

The Dardistan Times, a community driven news web site is published here asking the drupal community members their expert opinion about how we are doing and what can we do more to improve the quality. I am not a programmer or IT guy, I am a writer. I have designed this web site just paying a close attention to the various tutorials and documentations.
I considered it a great success and I believe that Drupal is the best ever product I have seen ever and the drupal volunteers have made it more beautiful.

i try to use drupal_add_js() function to add some java script & jquery library for my module
all is ok but when i logged in admin area it show

who know about this error ? Please show me how to fix it ?

I'm getting the following error when I try to activate Views on a local install using Acquia drupal.

Notice: Undefined index: validate_type in views_plugin_display_page->execute_hook_menu() (line 65 of C:\Drupal\Sites\drupal-7.0-rc1\sites\all\modules\views\plugins\views_plugin_display_page.inc).

Any ideas how to fix?

The title says it all. How I can get the version of a module (programatically)? Is there a function in Drupal API to do this?

The "Main Menu" which comes with Drupal will auto-expand when you are on the section pertaining to those links... on any page within that menu sub-tree.

You would set all items not to expand and so they would remain closed from the home page and other sections.. but as soon as you enter their section they would expand.

These subsections would also generate complete breadcrumbs.. but in my newly created menus this won't happen..?

I am looking for a Video Solution for my Drupal site, which will be a collaborative community site to create and manage projects and creative posts from site users.
I need a module which does the following:
-> Integrate one site account with Blip.tv
-> Allow users to upload directly through my web page to the site account with Blip.tv
-> Automatically embed the video from where uploaded into the post, using CCK field into the content types Or in Wysiwyg editor

I looked into the following modules but couldn't find a simple upload and embed solution for my end users:
-> Embedded Media Module (Provides embed code options for users with a CCK filed in your content type. Provides embed code filter for various video/audio/image sharing sites including Blip.tv , Dialy Motion , and many others.)
-> Media Mover (video upload, encoding, and local or Amazon S3 storage/bandwidth options. Amazon S3 provide low cost external per GB storage rate and per GB bandwidth rates. Check pricing here, http://aws.amazon.com/s3/pricing/ . This module has Blip.tv integration but only for D5)
-> FlashVideo (video upload, encoding, and local or Amazon S3 storage/bandwidth options)
-> Video (video upload, encoding, and local or Amazon S3 storage/bandwidth options)
-> Video Upload (provides simple upload and embed features to users to Youtube)
