My concerns about Drupal 7. Drupal became even more slower and this is bad for its future.

I've been a big fan of Drupal since the year 2006 and developed a lot of own and client projects on Drupal 6. I've been waiting for Drupal 7 as many of you and was amazed by a rich D7 features list and all. After January 7th, I spent 2 days playing with D7 and came to a conclusion that all these improvements came at a big price - performance.

php_curl.dll not found

Hi, I ave just installed Drupal but it is behaving strangely, some menus including config, status do not work. on click the screen just dims for a long time and comes back with

"Server error. The website encountered an error while retrieving http://localhost:82/drupal/?q=admin/reports/status"

I have checked my Apache Error log and it keeps issuing these two errors:

hook_theme turning my variable into an array

I'm working with the Drupal 7 theme system for the first time and have run into some confusion. I've read a couple of books on Drupal 7, and it seems that the behavior I'm seeing isn't what I should expect, though maybe I'm just confused.

Here's my code:

CVS Branching a module for Drupal 7

I'm starting the process of upgrading all my modules to Drupal 7. I've just finished the first one, but I'm not sure how I should go about branching and tagging my module in CVS.

My head is currently for Drupal 6. I want to commit my new module with HEAD becoming the Drupal 7 branch, while having a Drupal 6 dev version to work on in the future if necessary.

CVS is not my strong point as I only ever deal with it on Drupal, I use SVN and GIT in the rest of my life. So any help and/or links would be much appreciated. What is the best practice for this on Drupal.org?
