Should be simple! PHP access to custom user fields drupal 7 - Resolved!

Warning! Newbie Question:

I am trying to get to grips with Drupal to provide a solid and secure framework for my (currently) hand build intranet (PHP/Mysql).

Having loaded and installed Drupal 7 on the Aquia drupal stack I am stuck at pretty much first base.

My first (PHP enabled) content page attempt is to simply access the profile of the current user.

The following works perfectly:

Creating new users from a CSV / external database

Hey guys,

I have around 100-120 people that I need to make Users.

Obviously it would take a very long time manually adding them, so I'm looking for a way of uploading them automatically (preferably using a CSV, however if it's possible to use phpmyadmin I could also do that.)

I have tried using the 'feeds' module, however it seems to require an email column, which I can not provide.

Each person has a specific number (emp number), I would like to make it so the user can log in with this.

Can anyone recommend an easy way of doing this?!

Thanks

Timeframe Drupal 7?

Hello everybody,
i am running my website with Wordpress (an old version WP 2.2) and would like to move to Drupal now.

I installed Drupal 7 on a test server and am running into some problems now:
- i would like to get Colorbox working (or something similar that can show content like jpgs andhtml/iframes)
- import my old content from Wordpress
- install jQuery in Drupal
- i do not understand image handling in Drupal 7 articles???

All these modules are released for Drupal 6 but not Drupal 7.

How to create a custom button into image field?

Hi all.

Recently I started to move my web site from Ucoz to Drupal 7. In my theme I hide $content['field_image'], and add function for replace my images tag ($img0$, $img1$, ...) to html img code, in $content['body']. So, it's works great, but still need to type images tag by hand.

My question: How to add a button "Insert this image into message body" to image field? Next to the "delete" button

p.s. I'm not great in Drupal api :(
