Node creation link.

Greetings,
I am going to try to explain the problem I ran into.

User has created and finished content [A] and needs to create content [B].

Now my question is how do I put a link on [A] for the creation of [B]?
How do I make it so Automatic node titles pulls the title for [B] from the title of [A]?

Thanks,
Draven

Diary of a Hosting Provider Quest - What I learnt, captured over time

As I am getting ready to help a non-profit with their Drupal 7 setup, I thought I would capture my journey through different hosting providers.

In Conclusion
I moved this to top given the way pages are diplayed.

I am going to give SiteGround a try. Between their site focus and good customer service approach, it feels right. I will provide updates as appropriate.

There are many other companies to research. I hope the below info is helpful.

GoDaddy.com
I like GoDaddy as a multi-purposee provider. They registration rates are low and have many option to choose from. So I decided to start with them and setup a site and did my install. Basic Drupal worked just fine (they have a one click option), but Acquia profile caused it to consistently time out. (trying again eventually got me there). Their support did not have Drupal specific knowledge but after moving to the Grid version of their virtual shared hosting (this is about $10/month) I was back in the game.

Pros:

Inexpensive registration for many domain names to drive traffic (this doesn't require hosting with them but all in one i convenient)
Many hosting options and costs for your need
Courteous, available, responsive tech support

Why am I may not go with them:

new install - ubercart checkout errors

I just got Drupal 7 install with three products and am trying to get through an ordering cycle via UberCart without errors. The first set of errors I got were due to email issues with my localhost install, but I found I could simply turn email notifcations off for now to get past those errors. (via. Home › Administration › Store › Configuration > Checkout Settings)

Centos 5.5 / Apache / PHP extensions GD and PDO disabled - can't seem to enable

Hi all,

I need some advice: I'm trying to install Drupal on a Centos 5.5 / Apache server, but I can't get the GD and PDO Extensions to work. I've tried editing the PHP.ini file to include extension=pdo.so and extension=pdo_mysql.so - and I've restarted the server - but no joy. There's no reference to anything in the .htaccess file...so I'm stumped. Here's the results of the Install Requirements:

Full HTML, Facebook app - Security Question

Hey all,

I'm creating a module that allows users to post full html on my site. This content won't be displayed on my site (sorta) but will only be displayed via facebook page tabs. Facebook will show this content via an iframe.

So basically facebook's page iframes to my special url, I read the info facebook sends me and grab that users content from my database and just print/echo it. The content can only be viewed from facebook.

Drupal 7 install in a subdirectory of Drupal 6.1

I have installed Drupal 7 inside /home/abc/public_html/d7/

The root of Drupal 6 is /home/abc/public_html.

I have specified the document root of my d7site.com as: public_html/d7.
Now when I access my website as: http://d7site.com/d7 none of the CSS are loading. I get the basic login page with no formatting.
In settings.php, the $base_url is correct 'http://d7site.com/d7'

Any help appreciated.
