Problem in creating new account on localhost

hi,

i am using drupal 7 to build my new site. Web server i am using is wamp. Now creating new account takes a lot of time and at the end gives a list of errors. I am new to drupal so cant understand how to handle these errors. error page is as under

jQuery what ver comes with drupal 7?

jQuery what ver comes with drupal 7? jQuery is included in every php file, non admin, but viewed by my visitors to site? what about jQuery ui lib? Or I must manually include these libraries(non admin)?

Can't find "URL to file" or "path to file" in drupal 7 views

I need URL of an image to be displayed on a page rather than the image itself through 'View' module in drupal 7. In drupal 6, there is an option "URL to file" which shows the URL instead of image itself. But in drupal 7, there is no such options. There is only one option - image in 'Formatter' section which shows the image itself. Is there any workaround to show the URL of the image through View?

BOTH D6 and D7 fail to install

Hi,

While i've done so for several older versions this time i cannot get around the installation proces for drupal. To me the error is not really meaningfull at any stage. I'm no drupal developer.

I've read the installation notes and acted accordingly by copying > settings.php

Path = /var/www/drupal6 and /var/www/drupal7 respectively.
System = Debian Lenny

MySQL 5. 0.51a
Apache 2.2.9
php5 5.2.6 with suhoshin patch

For Drupal6 - gives a warning regarding menu.inc line 315 then fails to proceed.

Is there an alternative to Media module for Drupal 7?

Since the new Media module is one of the worse, most buggy and slowly developed module in Drupal 7 modules collection...
is there another way to upload / display youtube videos in drupal 7, just like good old Embedded Media Field?

All I need is a field which can read youtube links, validate them, download a thumbnail and play!

Thanx,
Itay

Front Page - Content Feed but "Navigation" missing

Hi,

Please visit http://www.incoleg.com to have a look at the current structure.

I have a problem... I want to show the "Book Navigation" block on the front page, which presently shows the "default content feed". However, it never shows up.

It shows up on all others "pages".

Just curious... can the book navigation block be shown on the front page if it is not a page?
If now, how can I show up the navigation?
