I have a website up and running that I would like to improve, and so I am going to rebuild it a new layout and everything on Drupal for future expandability. Ok so basically i'm trying to install a jquery plugin but i'm not sure where to start, so far i've installed the JQuery module, but now how do i call it inside a "content page"? for example if I wanted to add an 'about us' page with jquery tabbed layers, how would i go about that?
I am going to have a pretty extensive informational blog (D7) on my site with guides for various things. I was going to edit the core blog to my liking with cck but what are the advantages of using panels instead? I am still a little rusty on why I want to replace the standard drupal blocks with panels blocks and such. I read about people using only panels and views instead of anything else, is there a real reason for this for a basic blog?
I’m trying to develop an internal (within-the-site) file exchange system. Think Box.net, YouSendIt.com. or MobileMe sharing. But my own custom version, allowing my clients and me to share project files easily.
I've searched the forums for this, and found a couple threads but none provided the answeres I need, so I'm hoping somebody can help me out with this.
I'm using Drupal 7. I basically want it to work like this:
