Can we set download permission to Filefield?

What I need is to create a downloadable article that allows public user to see the abstract. Only when they are logged in, they are able to download the article's pdf.

It will also be great if someone can advice me on how I can approach this.

I'm on d7.2 with the included Media Module. I'm also using WYSIWYG if that matters at all...

I'm seeing that when a user clicks the image upload field, they have a choice of either 'web' or 'library'. The Library option shows all files that other users have uploaded to be included in other nodes. How do I disable that so that they don't see all the other files?

I am trying to embed a View inside a custom node--type.tpl.php page. The view displays fine without the custom coded page, however when I try to make a call to the view it displays the "No results behavior".

I am currently using this to embed the view inside the page.

I am using the Andromeda theme and would like to get rid of my website's title. It is set to "localhost" and I want to get rid of it altogether and just use the site's logo. How do I do this? Thanks in advance.
