Drupal 7.x

Hi!

This seems a bit strange. Whenever I put the site into maintenance mode, the homepage still displays but every other page displays the maintenance page.

I do have page.tpl and maintenance-page.tpl in my theme.

How do I get the homepage to be replaced by the maintenance page while in maintenance mode? Does anyone know?

I was wondering if anyone else uses godaddy and has been having problems with them?

I'm looking to change my hosting company. I'm looking for a reliable hosting company for my drupal site. Please could you give some recommendations for good drupal web hosts.

I am kind of afraid to start installing D7 modules, because it is so hard to find where to setup each module.
and of course, devs don't care about user friendlies. They don't care if we spend hours and hours trying to figure out how to use each module.

It would be much easier for us and for devs to add a short list to each module page how to use and install a module.

And of course, I am trying to keep my anger level at the minimum not to get any warnings from devs.

Again, Drupal does not listen. That is why people use Joomla, and it is much buggier.

Am I missing something but this is super annoying, each module doe snot have any info how to install it and set it up. Again it seems like the Drupal is made only for few devs who not care how will other people use their modules.

This is one of the main reasons, the Drupal is known as Hard CMS.

Infact Joomla, althrough buggier have info about each module how to install it.

Really easy, here you have to go through the clutter of menus and try to find your module.

Is there a plugin that will help you choose the keywords with keyword competition, inbound links.....

I upgraded from 7.0 to 7.4, then started upgrading my modules. When I tried to update Views and CTools, I got this error:
