I'm helping a client transfer his Drupal site from a different developer/host who had it as part of a multisite setup. The developer/host gave me a .sql.gz of the database and a .tar.gz of the site files.

I am trying to use the Location module along with GMaps to allow people to set their geographical location. The Location module provides a drop down menu to allow people to change the country and GMaps provide a little map to allow people to set their latitude and longitude. My problem is that those two are completely independent i.e. the pin on the map might be pointing in Africa but the text box might say United States. Is there a way to fix this or is it something I just have to live with?

I've got to be an idiot cuz I can't find this.

Anyway, I'm in the USA and I have a new user that's in Australia - but I can't select Australia, the only choice that I have for users is United States. How do I add Australia to the list of countries that are available to users?

I have been reading some books about Developing Themes for Drupal.
But I want to know for experts about that..
Do you Change the Core them or templates for modules ?
Or just override? Or Themeble functions?

I do feel that Changing the Core Templates will be faster. but is it worth..
or are you using this method for your Developed sites.

Hi all, I'm planning to create a Job Board website, something like monster.com or any job portal out there.
The functionality is pretty simple, Employer post a Job, then Job Seeker can apply to that Job by clicking button 'Apply Job', then they can post Resume to that particular Job.

My question is, what's the best practice to do this, as in: how to make a 'connection' between one node to another?
Coz I was thinking, Job and Resume will be a content type, how to make some 'new connection' between them?

Hi every one,
I have installed Drupal 7 on Ubuntu Linux . using the Local LAMP server.
I do have this message still showing out every time I refresh the page.

No update information available. Run cron or check manually.

I tried to switch Auto Update OFF but it's not working.. my chmod is 777 for every thing in the directory.

I hop to fix this..
