id like to know if you guys can provide a list of modules that youre familiar with to make things easier on us to develop a site with features similar to that of ebay and a few specific features. also,
Is there a module that will allow me to create a set of medical terms and their definitions that may be used on my site. Then whenever a term is used anywhere on the site in a page, or article, etc - it will allow the user to mouse over it and display the definition?
I recently migrated my webcomic to Drupal 7 (that was already mentioned in the announcement section), after I migrated the site over everything worked the way that I expected it to. Most of the comic listing web pages my site is tracked on had little or no issue with the upgrade to my site. One of the obvious exceptions this was The Web Comic List. I had gone over to the site an noticed it was no longer being crawled and the listing was not being updated with the latest comic posting date.
The reason was because their crawler looks for the following information in the site code: <!-- Last Update: dd/mm/yyyy --> with the date code being the date the most recent comic was posted. Since I was not willing to manually update that information every time I posted a new comic, I looked for a way to do it automatically. I found a few code snippets over here in the forums that make that possible, and after a little trial and error I was able to find the right place for the code to be inserted into my site to have it work with their crawler.
I'm using Drupal 7.7 - Is there a way to have a 2nd site-wide contact form? Basically, I want to make a link at the bottom of my page that says, "Partner with us" and when you click that link it takes you to a contact form with a block at the top of the page that explains options for partnering with our organization with a basic site-wide contact form below.
I have experimented with using the default site-wide contact form, but this only allows me to add a category to the main contact form. I want to be able to have a stand-alone contact form for this.
I have a problem with my front page only; the footer and the right column appear below the left column. This just started to happen so I restored the database to an earlier date and it temporarily fixed the issue. About 2 hours later it happened again. I have cleared the cache and re installed the theme but nothing seems to work.
Here is the site: http://hoosierlacrosse.com but if you click on any of the links (other than going back to the home page) the problem disappears.
I was reffered to Drupal by one of my college prefessors. I plan on creating my own website. My own business. I am going to buy my own domain and host. However, I do not plan on doing this for another 6 months, to a year. I obviously do not know the anwser to this or I wouldnt ask. Can I go ahead, and download drupal and basically make my site, and get it how I want it pretty well, then when I buy the domain, get what I have created and basically copy and paste or is that not how this works? Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
