Subscribe problem

After setting and saving subscriptions ( http://drupal.org/project/issues/subscribe-mail ), I can no longer get back to that page to make changes. The page now only displays as blank.

grrr.

Am I the only one experiencing this on D.org?

Why is it that sometimes the upper left graphic does not show up in Firefox 2 or Mozilla 1.7? It's just empty white space. I used to think that it was just something wrong with my computer, but then it died, and the same thing happens on my new Vista laptop.

Flood in CVS commit messages

More than week there are tons of messages like "#152819: Module .info files should not define 'version' in CVS" in drupal.org/project/cvs/[project_nid] pages. Looks like a flood.

Drupal Project Categories

Does, anyone agree that, the drupal porject main categories (like, Administration, 3rd party integration, etc) should be break into smaller one for better search on the project?

like say, Administration category can have the following sub categories.

Administration
-Backup
-User Management
-Statistics
-Interface
-Reporting/Log

etc..

Drupal Site project Advanced Search

If said that you would like to search for aggregation project, based on drupal 5.

You enter your search, and select 5.x in drupal core compability, and tick project. it will return no result.

so, i think it is good to have the ability to allow people to search the functionality/natural of a project for certain drupal core version without going thru every single project in one category. (like for instance, the content_display category you have over 170 projects.)

Encourage users to search only one section or a limited date range

I've noticed that searching Drupal.org is extremely slow. This makes sense since every time I search Drupal seems to cull through everything ever posted on Drupal.org. I think search would speed-up significantly if the default search only looked through content in the specific section that the user is in. On the hompage the search could be limited to posts updated in the past year unless the user specifies otherwise.
