Project co-maintainership permissions

Hello,

I'm not really sure if this is the right place to ask (moderators, feel free to place it where it actually belongs).

I'm a co-maintainer for a d.o. project, after its creator gave me full access to the project. However, I really don't have full access to the project, e.g. I cannot create a new release, or edit the release notes of a release. Is this by design, or is there a setting we 've been missing that should give me full access to the project?

Regards.

Recomendations and star rating system for Modules

last time I checked there were over 1500 modules just for 5.x alone... and counting.

Some of those modules are not as great as others. Some of those modules are doing pretty much the same as other modules.

So I thought, why not implement a star-rating system for those modules so that drupalers could get our head around those modules quicker.

I thought, maybe implementing a star-rating system (like fivestar) could also be helpful for forum topics on drupal.org

Drupal.org project download count

Hello all. Is it possible to view a download count for contributed projects on drupal.org? We have a theme in the contributed projects area, and we would like to determine the number of times it has been downloaded from drupal.org if at all possible. Sorry if this question is answered elsewhere, but I've looked around without much success.

spam entry in handbook

hi there,

don't know if this is the right section but it looks good.

Today I had a look in the drupal.org handbook. In the global table of contents there is a spam entry (http://drupal.org/node/160503). I hope anyone can delete it.

Frontpage of Drupal.org broken again - you still think tableless design is the best?

Frontpage of Drupal.org today (IE6): Right sidebar blank at first sight, starts far down, below end of the actual page. Plus the new-topics block much wider than its heading, also seems broken from user's perspective. Typical CSS-formatting problem, usually "solved" by saying to the web-developer that he's stupid to have wider content in small area. Now it happened even at Drupal.org, it's unavoidable with any user-submitted content present on the site.

various issues

Each page should have a detailed title. For example, replying to a forum post uses the generic "Site name | Site motto" ("dupal.org | Community plumbing") title instead of something like "Reply to <topic> | Site name". And a lot of admin pages don't have very detailed titles for when editing/managing (too many interchangable term usage in Drupal and its modules!).

Comments to project issues aren't included in the "Recent posts"/tracker (more interchangeable terms...).

The trailing slash "/" on URLs isn't displayed. URL alias/Path module issue?

Entering an invalid project (like URLalias) brings up a vague page with a filter pull-down list (which doesn't help since there's nothing to filter) and an empty "Categories" section. How about an automatic search for the entered project if an exact result doesn't occur?

Typing of search, why isn't the advanced search available on all pages? As it is now, you have to do a search before you get the option to do an advanced search. :/ Plus, it would be nice if the esarch results were sortable by date, node type, category, user/author (argh!), etc.

Alternate themes/styles (argh, more interchangable terms!) would be nice; I don't much like white backgrounds...
