I have a module which I built and previously, just before the update I had tested the module which uses a hook_cron() function and everything seemed to work as expected.

I need php code for when a block is visible.
I want the block only show if the node is of the content type date.
I have:

After submitting a form built using the form api I get an integer printed at the top of the page just under the toolbar.
So far the integer ranges from 755 to 1356. Don't know what these could be. (No nodes involved) I do not see any print statements in my page template that could do anything like this.
