My website StellaCulinary.com just started running extremely slow and I can't figure it out. I haven't recently installed or deleted any modules, or made any changes to the core. About 72 hours ago the site started loading extremely slow on every page, but it's even more noticeable in the admin area.
I contacted my hosting company to see if it was something on their end, here's part of the reply I got:
I'm having to learn Drupal in a hurry after taking over admin duties from someone who left our organization. I'm able to do things like set up a new database and install Drupal. But now I've run into a problem.
I want to clone our site to my local computer partly to create a dev environment and partly as practice for migrating to a new host. I copied all the files from the production server to my system, and inported the database that I had exported from production. I'm now able to look at the database with phpMyAdmin so I think that part went OK.
I'm developing a new drupal instance for a colleague at work, it is used to advertise specific events as a content type with custom defined fields.
He currently copies and pastes each of these fields into an email template to send out targeted comms for each event.
Now I'm sure there must be some way of integrating an option within the drupal instance to do this for him at the click of a button. I need the email to be generated by outlook but not sent - as my client likes to add/amend the distro before sending.
I am using the Views module to lay out my pages. I am also using the Search module to search for content. When you search, it displays the title of the content, and links that title to /node/{id}. However, using the Views module requires that they go to /{content-type}/{id} in order to view the correct layout. Is there any way to change the default URL for a node to /{content-type} instead of /node, or to change the settings in the search module so it goes to the right URL?
