Drupal 6.x

Hey I have a simple view in drupal 6, in my user id field I "Rewrite the output of this field" and enter this HTML code

than I just added the script in my template , this code works from a basic page but doesn't work from the view, and ideas?

Hi All,

I've been using Drupal Quickstart on my Ubuntu box for a little while and I'm looking to switch to a dev VM where I can just use it as a server and having it run in the background while I do the development in my IDE on my normal machine.

Any suggestions are welcome!

I am interested in upgrading http://glenwood.trustech.co.za from D6 to D7 with a view to moving to D8 once released. It is currently fully updated at 6.30 and I now need to get to the next stage of moving to D7.

I would like to know what documentation to follow for this process.

During Drupalcafé March we'll continue the topic which got everyone excited in January: Security. Except this time, instead of looking at the broader perspective and hacking, we'll dive into Drupal specific security.
When it comes to Drupal security, there are various angles and viewpoints. We have the code and configuration (rights etc) of course, but we can also distinguish between prevention (good coding, maintenance), and best practices for damage control in case something goes wrong in spite of our efforts.

I am planning to build a community-driven (always growing) site like stackoverflow... where people can post questions and other users can post replies (comment on questions/replies and vote up/down system) with the badge and points system.

Such website has potential of becoming very huge as it's community driven.

My concerns are performance of drupal for such websites.

Firstly, what version should I use? 6 or 7?
