Drupal 6.x

Apologies for any cross-postings. I represent a nonprofit research society. We are interested in developing a section of our website as a repository for the history of our work. A demo of this is available at www.gcmas.net/hist; we are in the process of transferring the existing parent site to a new provider, and will not be continuing with the provider who designed the current demo.

Key elements of this history/timeline section:
1) Ability to add/edit items with date, keywords/key persons, and descriptions.
2) Ability to upload media files which will link to the relevant timeline element (photo, video, audio), and be available for viewing along with the detail page for each timeline event.
3) Search all events by keyword and key person.
4) Restriction of access to authenticated users.
5) Administrative review of all entries prior to public posting.

I would also like to be able to use a rotating sequence of photos for the main page and each "decade" page (see demo).

I have looked at using the Timeline module currently available, but it doesn't seem to quite meet these needs. I would also like something compatible with v6, and the existing module is only listed through 4.7.

I am looking for Drupal 5.x, 6.0 expert who can take photoshop (PSD) and flash files and convert them into Drupal templates for me. Basically I have a designed existing static website I would like to convert to run on Drupal instead.

Specifically I have 6 high quality pre-sliced pages (PSDs) which need to be setup as corresponding Drupal templates.

The resulting theme should follow all drupal coding standards and should be a simple drop in into the themes/ directory if possible.

I'm not sure what I did, but as of earlier today changes to my style.css file stopped being recognized.

I'm a newbie to Drupal and CSS, so maybe it's something obvious, but I can't figure it out.

As of last night was working fine - changes were immediately recognized. I made a back up copy of the entire theme folder (theme is lightly customized from an installed theme off drupal.org). And now today, when i make changes to the .css file, nothing happens - for example, if I change CSS width parameter below to another value, nothing.

How do I secure a page/node from anonymous display and have it only visible to someone who's authenticated?
