Hi everyone. I have been playing with Drupal on my computer for a few days now and I'm really impressed and have decided to go ahead and use it to power a site I am doing. I have created a theme which works okay however I am struggling with one bit. I simply want to create a list of stories for a particlar content type and display them by clicking on a link in my menu.
I have created a content type called 'players' and added a couple of stories. I then copied the node.tpl.php file and renamed it node-players.tpl.php.
I have known about Drupal for a long time now but have not needed to use it for any of the small projects I have worked on. I now have a personal site concept in mind that can make good use of Drupal and its many features. I really like what I have seen of the new ver 6. though I also saw the Popular Science case study which has some nice features I would like to include in my site too and noticed it was using ver 5. Also many of the modules of that case study still seemed to only be supported or recommended for ver 5.
I added a table with search forms in the header, and in Firefox, Netscape and Opera it shows a horizontal line above the table, however this is not shown in Internet Explorer.
The same happens to the seperation horizontal line between the header and the left sidebar/main/right side bar. In Internet Explorer it shows only one line, in other browsers it shows 2.
Is this cause of tables and browsers ? It's pretty weird, cause if you add a table in a code block to the left side bar, you suddenly have three horizontal lines there.
Hello all, is it possible for me to create a new content type that doesn't display the author and date of the page? Also if there is any way to unlock extra options in content types could you please tell me them
