I am very very new to Drupal. I am totally blown away with the quality of this product. My hat goes off to the whole team.
I am using Drupal 6.1 and the Garland theme on a local winxp installation only.
I created a node (which was either a page or a story, I'm not sure which because the problem wasn't apparant until later). When I did it I left the title line blank because I didn't want the title to display and I promoted it to the front page. Yes, I know there is an orange asterix meaning required but Drupal let me get away with it, whereas everywhere else it brings you back to a complete a required field.
Well sure enough the node shows up on the front page. But, I can't find it in the recent posts, I can't find it by typing in http://localhost/drupal/?q=node/xx with xx being changed incrementally through all node numbers. I encountered two node numbers 3 & 6 that give me an access denied error even though I am logged in with administer access. I have tried exploring the mySQL database with phpmyadmin and those same two nodes are missing.
I would like to edit the node but can't seem to find how to do that. Even if I could just delete it, that would be fine. Any help would be appreciated.
Also, is this a bug? - Creating a node with the required title field being left blank and getting away with it and not filling in the required title.
Thanks,
