I am struggling with the following case with Drupal and PHP hardening on an Red Hat Linux infrastructure.
For drupal installation a user has been created. All the files and directories are owned by this specific user. Due to the security hardening that we have applied, we restricted chmod from PHP and now drupal is not working properly. In order for new content to be uploaded to site from the Administrative panel, chmod is being used so that files should be uploaded under /sites/default/files with the proper rights.
Hello - I'm new to Drupal and have been asked to transfer a site built with it to a new server. The previous administrator sent me backups of the site files and the mysql database which I have successfully uploaded to our new host. I'm having problems getting the site running (WSOD) and I suspect this is due to the previous admin not updating, the site appears to be running on Drupal 6.
The new host cannot provide PHP versions below 7 and my research is telling me that there are significant hurdles to running a Drupal 6 site with anything above PHP 5.
I inherited an old Drupal site. I updated to version 6.38 successfully, but update to 7 shows:
Error message

I have a flat .png file that I would like to edit in Gimp and make clickable links for various parts of the image. I then want to be able to add this clickable image to one of our drupal sites.
Does anyone know how this can be done or if it can be done?
