Drupal 7 beta 1 not recognising MySQL during install?

Not sure if this is a bug, or an issue with my configuration.

I'm trying to install drupal 7 beta 1 onto my web server but getting stuck at the database configuration stage.

The database configuration page only gives me a choice for SQLite

Its a Windows server running PLESK which states the server components to be :

PHP ver 5.2.6
MySQL: MySQL 5.0.45
I have amended the php.ini file so that it has the pdo settings uncommented
(extension=php_pdo.dll, extension=php_pdo_mysql.dll)

[SOLVED] multisite in subdirectories installation problem

Hi,
1. I have a small server on my lan. the ip of web server is 192.168.2.11
2. my working drupal install is under web/thekitchen so the complete address to run it is http://192.168.2.11/web/thekitchen
3. I set one subdirectory under "web/thekitchen/sites" named "192.168.2.11.web.thekitchen.dev1" and copied a fresh new default.settings.php into it.
4. I set a symbolic link in drupal install (web/thekitchen) under the format name: "dev1" and target "."

D7 install, databases empty...

Uploading d7 to a junk domain that I keep around for play. Anyway, I edited settings.php to point at my existing database (which I deleted tables from *after* I uploaded d7 folders to an empty public_html folder) Anyone know why my site looks like this: differentwindows.org
The only thing I edited in settings.php is these few lines

Installing Drupal on Debian Stable

Hi List,

We are currently working on getting a Drupal site live on Debian.
I was wondering what the best way would be to do that:

Can I -- Install D7 in Subdomain and KEEP D6 in domain

Hey Everyone,

I currently have D6 installed for my domain. Can I install D7 in a sub domain so I can play with it and not effect my domain with D6 on it? I don't need data to transfer over I just want to play with D7.

Is this possible? Thanks.
